A valid Minnesota fishing license
A license can be purchased at any convenient store (Holiday), sporting goods store (L&M Supply), or online https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/fishing/index.html
A fishing license and trout stamp are required, or a 24hr hour license is required for persons 16 or over. For seniors 65 or over the trout stamp is not necessary.
- Ages 16-89 require a valid MN non-resident fishing license
- Ages 18-64 require a valid MN trout stamp
Both Residents and Non-Residents are eligible to purchase a one-day fishing license which does not require the purchase of a trout stamp.
